From wide out A Shin Coxswain can slide across and take up the running in a race devoid of genuine early pace. GILT EDGE (11) has been in the money three times including last start on May 26 when third over 1600m at this track. Goes well here with two top-three finishes to his credit. Has the ability to take this out. A SHIN COXSWAIN (14) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 7 lengths from the winner in fourth at this venue over 1600m. Plenty of scope for improvement and worth following up. OTARU GREEN (1) was in the money two starts back here then missed the frame but was not too far away last time over 1600m at this circuit. Backmarker who keeps coming. Finds a nice race and can measure up. KING BLUE (3) resumes from a spell of 12 weeks. Could only manage to finish tenth at the latest run over 1800m at Hanshin. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
