Hot tempo expected with King Of Queen, William's Legacy and Specmagic heading the charge. SPECMAGIC (3) raced from a handy position over 1600m last time, moved up like a winner but was outrun late. He finished third in his only course and distance attempt. He jumps from pole position and can go one better. KING OF QUEEN (1) has finished second in his last five starts and deserves a winning turn. With a bit of luck in the running he may be rewarded for consistency. STATESMAN (9) showed good improvement when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m. He should like the extra 200m on offer and can finish in the placings once again. WILLIAM'S LEGACY (2) is struggling to break through but has been around the mark lately, last start finishing fifth over 1900m at Fairview All Weather. Yet to win at the distance but has recorded two minor placings. Should measure up well in this line-up.
