Kastun Star has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. Competitive. KASTUN STAR (2) peaks off a narrow defeat at Moe over a mile. Has the blinkers on again and may be the one to control the race. He can go one better. COULDTHISBETHEONE (11) improved sharply narrowly beaten on the synthetic. Maps for a soft run and will be fitter again. Looks to have plenty of upside. PEPE (12) placed at Seymour on debut and it was a solid good effort after a slow off. He should relish the longer journey and draws handy. Lane is a key jockey engagement. SHE'S A BEAUTY (9) just missed on the synthetic and then went back and didn't have the best of it.
