Genuine tempo with Ozimozzi and Surprisatic pressing for the lead. SURPRISATIC (4) resumes and is right up to this if presented forward. He has switched yards and two-back was beaten a lip at Bendigo on debut. He maps well and has had four unplaced trials. Wodonga-trained and you'd presume he's ready to go if he takes his place. THE EYES HAVE IT (5) resumes and has switched to a sharp local yard. She's placed 5/7 and most of her racing has been in stronger provincial company. Maps for the run of the race, and no surprise to see her tuned right up. Sydney-trained COSMIC EAGLE (6) was well out of the market at Hawkesbury and never a winning hope. She was backed off the map winning a country Maiden prior, following a near miss at Newcastle on debut. Has the blinkers on for the first time, and sharp improvement is on the cards. SWEET WARRIOR (13) is a local on debut and she won a recent trial here by 3.5L Jumps from the inside gate and elevate in the order if serious money comes. SUGGESTED PLAY: Surprisatic appeals.
