Small field but Monocle, Keenia's Princess and Lord Quinn can ensure a genuine tempo. BOMBER BAY (1) has decent recent form lines to his name, having placed in all of his four runs this prep. He raced from a handy position over this distance on the polytrack last time, but found one too good on the day. Well placed to go one better. AETHELWULF (5) finished out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at this track, finishing fourth of eight. Finds a nice race and jumping from an inside draw can finish in the top-three. QUICK CROWN (4) finished fifth at his latest appearance over 1600m at Fairview All Weather. Richard Fourie takes over the reins today and looks well placed to return to form. MONOCLE (3) failed to fire again last time over 1600m at Fairview All Weather, finishing seventh of eight. Has the pace to settle in the leading division and can place.
