Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by The Coat Hanger. ALLBERIN (3) came from a seemingly hopeless position to score over 1420m at Grafton two runs back then worked home fairly but was beaten a long way at Coffs Harbour last start. Nicely in after the claim and she gets the right conditions to return to form. The consistent SOLAR POWER (1) led all the way and gave nothing else a chance last time out over 1305m at Coffs Harbour. Extended to this distance for the first time so the red odds on offer early are a little ungenerous. BOAMBEE BEACH (2) chased hard but just came up short at her latest appearance over 1205m at Grafton. New to this trip but with a cosy run likely from the good gate she should be strong late. GOLDEN HONOUR (6) has been just out of the placings in his two runs this prep. Gets to his preferred trip today so expect him to be in the finish. Looks a race in four, with THE COAT HANGER (8) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Allberin each-way.
