SUPER AWESOME (1) showed good signs of a form return in his last start over 1000m at Turffontein. He raced from just off the pace and rallied late to finish second. He won his only attempt over this course and distance. If confirming his recent improvement, he can go one better. KEY NEWS (11) won a good race on debut over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course. He showed good pace and kept finding all the way to the line. Looks well placed to go one better. VELDSKOEN (7) was outrun late when second of eight over 1160m at Turffontein last time. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. With luck in the running he should be involved at the finish. RAINBOW REWARD (2) has been in great form with two placings in succession, most recently when o third over 1000m at Turffontein Standside. Faces an easier assignment and should prove hard to beat.
