No surprise if the newcomers played a key role in the tempo of the race with little speed on paper. Some likely types engaged. STREET ARTIST (11) raced forward and improved sharply, placing at Sandown-Hillside. He's been gelded since and kept up to the mark with a winning jumpout at this track, with race rider Zahra was aboard. He sets a decent standard. KIWI RAIDER (7) debuts and the in-form Brown sticks from the sharp winning jumpouts. Maps well and she shapes as a threat. GATTINO VELOCE (6) resumes from an inside barrier for a hot stable and has shown enough in the lead-ups to consider. CABARET QUEEN (4) debuts and is also in good hands. The jumpouts have been good, and a gun jockey sticks from the latest. Has the rail and can go well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Street Artist with the race fitness/experience.
