He looks to have this race at his mercy. THE COOL ONE (1) has plenty of upside and will probably improve over more ground later in the year. He meets a modest lineup here and can run the exacta behind the top pick. SHOCKUS (8) is on debut after finishing runner-up in his only public trial last month at Ashburton. He has a good draw and can give this a shake. Use the market as your best guide. RED INVADER (3) showed talent at the trials when trained in the North Island. He resumes from a spell for a new trainer in the South Island, and he is well worth watching closely. Include in all combos to be safe.
