Expecting Meisho Rutile to take up the running with Glint Star and Sawayaka Sawachan close at hand. SAWAYAKA SAWACHAN (10) ran a strong race first up then raced on the speed last time and faded out of it when sixth here. Rates highly and can bounce back. A SHIN VORAN (1) was well fancied last start over 1400m at this track when fifth, beaten 2.25 lengths. Draws ideally and worth another chance. CORTADO (8) was in contention on the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close second here after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. GEMPACHI SHADOW (4) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second here. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
