Speed should be right on over the 1200m journey. SKITTLES SKIES (11) ran an encouraging race on debut over this distance. He lost a length leaving the start, raced green but stayed on well to finish second of 16 at this track. He would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected can go one better. THE OCTAGON (1) resumes during which time he was gelded. His first two career outings were encouraging. If not in need of the run, he should be finishing in the money BREGARDT (3) has fair recent form lines to his name. Muzi Yeni is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him when it matters most. KING OF NUMBERS (2) resumes from a spell and is having his first run for the Brett Webber stable. He is lightly raced and has plenty of scope to improve.
