GOD HORNET (7) showed early speed from a good draw and led until entering the straight last start, eventually holding on for third here. Well-placed and is going to prove tough to run down. PURE COLOR (4) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out here, finishing second and beaten 2.5 lengths when she worked home well. Likely improver with strong prospects. HEIKE (5) is a nine-start maiden who is knocking on the door, the latest effort a solid third at this track after being prominent at the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. LEVE SECRETA (2) has switched yards since finishing 11th five weeks ago over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Much easier this time and warrants safe keeping.
