Despite the wide draw Jovian should cross and set a genuine tempo. DIXIE GUNNER (4) is a promising type who finished in the placings over 1200m at this track at his last appearance on April 21 the only run of that campaign. Has never been out of the placings first up from five tries and is expected to feature. JOVIAN (11) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this venue over 1200m after being in the firing line all the way. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. ASK I'LL BE THERE (3) returns after a spell of nine weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt. Definite top-three chance while fresh. ESCALE (1) returned from a spell last start with a strong win by 2.5 lengths over 1200m at this circuit. Fitter for that last hit-out and appeals as a solid top-three hope.
