A solid early tempo assured with Sunrise Pride setting the tone from wide out, joined by Meisho Gishi O and Hamburg Hammer pushing on from closer draws. IRON MOON (6) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 1230m at this track. Has a good winning record here at this journey with two successes from six starts. Will be tough to hold out again. A SHIN TEMUJIN (12) found the line nicely last start to get up for third here when resuming after a spell. Form at this distance is strong with four wins from seven starts and looks a top chance. SUNRISE PRIDE (9) turned in a fine effort to win by 2.5 lengths at this course and distance last start in a far better run. Meeting a deeper field this time but he can get the job done. MEISHO GISHI O (4) showed early speed from an outside draw last start and raced on the pace before boxing on well to finish third. Nicely placed to go a couple better.
