Slick pace with T's Energy finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. SCISSORHANDS (8) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over this track and trip. Should camp just off the leaders. Expecting a bold showing. AMPHORA (12) resumes in a similar race to her last run nine weeks ago when she scored by 2 lengths. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. PLATINUM ROD (11) resumed over this track and trip after showing little early speed closed hard to score by a head. Good record at this journey with five wins and three minor placings from 12 starts and is one of the prime contenders. RHEIN ANGEL (2) was in contention on the bend and finished third last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Should be peaking. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
