Virya has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. VIRYA (3) ran well below her best last time over 1700m at this track in seventh at $2.10. Has a very good record here with six wins from seven starts. Will prove tough to beat. MIGRATEUR (4) has been hard to fault, scoring two in a row before hitting the frame at the last two including a second most recently here. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. CHONDRULE (6) settled towards the back of the field last start and made little impact in the straight when tenth over this journey at this track. Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. SUNRISE SIEG (1) raced on the speed when resuming last start but peaked on his run on straightening and faded to finish tenth over 3000m at Chukyo. Much easier this time and is in the mix.
