His prior 3yo+ C2 win over Hokulea and four wins from six starts at Kochi keep him firmly on top, with the drop back in trip looking a suitable reset. ZENNO SOVEREIGN (4) has been plain at his past two, including a nine-length fifth behind Top American, but the return to a proven track-and-distance profile and his record with Takuya Okamura make him the main danger. INAZUMA TAILOR (8) improved sharply when fourth to Neujahr, beaten just under a length, and appeals as the reliable place-to-win threat if he repeats that run. TIME IS MONEY (9) must rebound from a poor second-last effort, but his earlier second and perfect three-start track-and-distance place record keep him in the wider winning mix.
