KAISER BLITZ (4) brings the most complete profile after winning a 3yo+ C3 at Kochi by four lengths as favourite, and his three wins plus one placing from five starts at this track and distance give him a firm base for the C2 test. WIN IMERU (8) is the immediate threat, having resumed with a half-length Kochi win as a well-supported favourite and proven he handles this 1300m. TRUST M C (6) has not been winning, but his last-start fourth behind Nicholaus was a step in the right direction and the drop back from a 3yo+ ALLOW run two starts ago reads well enough for this. GOODBYE WAVE (11) has been safely held at Sapporo Dirt, yet she returns to a more suitable distance range and lands in a race where her class relief gives her a genuine place-to-win chance if she improves on the recent margins.
