Off the low draw Purple Rose should lead at a genuine tempo. Tricky race to end the day. PURPLE ROSE (3) will appreciate the firmer surface today after disappointing at her last two outings. Regular rider sticks from the good barrier and assess on the dominant win three back at Muswellbrook. Genuine prospect. ELLOFADUDE (4) progressive gelding who comes back in grade today. Massive effort when he sat on the speed to finish a narrow second over 1200m at Gosford in BM64 class. Will go forward from the good draw and no shock to see him go one better. MYALABY (9) has an okay record at this course and distance and should be near her top now third up. Can get cover from the gate and take a hand in the finish. BEAUMISTA (1) has raced with luck all campaign and looks to get a better set-up today. Closed strongly from the wide gate when second over 1200m at Scone in C3 class. No shock to see him salute.
