SMILE MOON (5) gets top billing despite a plain last-start result, with her 3yo+ C2 win at Kanazawa two back carrying real weight in this line-up. She beat Nameless Queen by a length and a half that day and has already shown she handles this track and distance. I'LL CHANCE (11) is the main danger on overall profile, particularly with two wins and four places from eleven starts at the Kanazawa 1500m and a recent head-to-head edge over Smile Moon. RA'S AL'AYN (2) is still chasing a breakthrough, but his past two runs have both been within just over four lengths and he worked home in eye-catching style last time. FIERE GIRL (1) resumes off poor form, yet her track-and-distance record gives her a genuine place hook if she returns in better order.
