Good pace expected with Kitano Couver, Rondine and Daisen Rouge paving the way. DAISEN ROUGE (5) earns top billing in a competitive B2 over 1600m. Her last run at Morioka Dirt was sound enough, beaten four and a half lengths in 3yo+ C1 company, and the prior win over Spiritual showed she is going well enough to take this if she sustains her effort. KITANO COUVER (6) has to be respected after winning a 3yo+ C2 at Morioka Dirt by a length, though the leap from 1400m to 1600m leaves a fair query. MASANO VISION (1) has recent margins that temper confidence, but he is a Mizusawa track-and-trip winner and his season record keeps him in the mix for the minors. RONDINE (2) was poor here last time, yet the five-length win over Jodhpur two runs back gives her a clear rebound case if she handles the 1600m better.

His track-and-trip win and three wins this season keep him in the place mix, but he needs to produce a sharper finish. |

That was a sharp reversal from her 3yo+ C2 win over 1200m at Morioka Dirt, where she beat Jodhpur by five lengths as odds-on favourite. Her record with Ryo Takamatsu is a genuine plus, but the 1600m has to be handled better to make her a reliable place prospect. |

She has placed four times from six starts at this track and distance, but current form says a clear lift is required. |

Her previous run carries more weight, winning a 3yo+ C1 at Morioka Dirt by just under a length from Spiritual despite being at long odds. With a solid 1600m profile and Shinobu Murakami back aboard, she looks one of the main winning chances if she sees it out. |
