Expecting a solid pace primarily from Sheriff Bill Brown. SHERIFF BILL BROWN (4) was in great form at the end of the last campaign with back-to-back wins. Dominant course and distance winner before a spell and expected to go close fresh. PALACE ATTACK (3) is progressing well this preparation. Opened with a fourth at Scottsville two starts back then landed the prize by a neck last time out after being prominent at the corner over 1600m at Turffontein Inside. Back in form and goes well this circuit too. BOUNDLESS LOVE (1) was thereabouts last time out when second at this track over 1800m, beaten 0.8 lengths. Chase Maujean who has two wins when partnering stays on. One of the contenders. AINT NO DOUBT (8) was close to breaking through after two consecutive placings. Has since started favourite on the weekend and was well held. On the quick back-up and may be worth another chance.
