Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Scarlet Haze. ANTHROPOLOGY (11) has the most appealing profile after breaking through at Emerald over 1000m by just over four lengths as an odds-on favourite. She stays at the same trip, has missed a place only once in seven starts, and Nikki Olzard has been aboard for all three Emerald runs. SPEED KING (6) is the main danger after winning at Dingo despite beginning slowly and racing wide, while his Middlemount second two back keeps the recent form sound. I'M STELLAR (3) has been runner-up at her past two, including a Benchmark 55 placing here, and gets back to 1000m with solid Emerald credentials, though she has been costly as a beaten favourite. SCARLET HAZE (7) resumes from six months off with a strong 1000m record and a seven-length Moranbah win in the book, but the wet-track record and fresh setup temper the enthusiasm slightly. SUGGESTED PLAY: Anthropology can win again.
