Trixi has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. PROPELLER SHAFT (1) has the most reliable profile among the main chances, with a solid fourth behind Bravo Kirishima at Kasamatsu last start and a deep record at this track and distance. He also had Yamami Wolf covered in that recent meeting, which gives him a clear reference point. YAMAMI WOLF (8) is harder to trust off two last-place finishes, but he is a track-and-trip winner and the return of a rider already successful on him keeps him firmly in calculations if he can turn recent form around. JOUR SE LEVE (6) brings the stronger track-and-distance place record, with one win and six placings from twelve, and her latest fourth behind Lovushka was enough to keep her in the race. TRIXI (9) resumes off two honest placings, including a second to Meisho Nanakaze, but the maiden record makes her more a winning danger than a runner to take on trust.

She has won at this track and distance and gets weight relief, yet the recent form leaves her with a clear improvement task first-up. |
