SUNS (12) sets the standard after proving too strong over this course and distance last start, beating Spin Diegoal by a neck after being prominent in betting. His Urawa profile is the major separator: six wins and three places from ten starts here, backed by a strong recent record across the past 12 months. WHITE BEACH (9) is the obvious danger if he improves second-up, having been respected in an open market when sixth behind Suns here, though he must turn around that margin and also has Seinosuke to reverse. SEINOSUKE (8) is better suited back from 2200m and brings a reliable Urawa 2000m record, including two wins and two places from six attempts, while Mai Fukuhara has an excellent association with him. SPENCER BAROWS (4) resumes off solid 1400m efforts in stronger grades and has the right rider profile, but the rise to 2000m is the main reservation.
