KAMIWA MATTEIRU (3) is the logical danger: he was third behind Represent last time, has won three times at the course and distance, and has the profile to keep the favourite honest. LADY PYRO (9) comes through a stronger recent placing than the market expected, running second to Angel, and her long record over this track and trip gives her a genuine claims base. FENG MEILI (12) is harder to line up after a plain Niigata Dirt return, but her narrow 4yo+ ALLOW win two starts back keeps her in the discussion if she rebounds sharply.
