Cracking tempo with Mister Bianco and Kingdom Undersiege leading the way.
ABOUT TO EXPLODE (5) was slow out of the machine then went through the gears nicely late to finish just behind the placegetters over 1110m at Doomben last start. That was his first outing in 19 weeks. Not a noted first-up performer but always improves at the next run. The winner of three from five here at this trip so a big run is on the cards. FACUNDO (6) raced handy and battled on well to be beaten only two lengths when resuming over this course and distance three weeks ago. Draws a much better gate and has won two from two when second-up so he looks certain to be in the finish. SER JOH (3) has been up for a while but keeps racing well. Just missed in a three-way go over 1350m at Doomben recently. At his best over this distance which brings him right under notice. MISTER BIANCO (2) hasn't been far away of late and will appreciate dropping back to 1200m today. BUNDELLA (11) won here at this trip last start and although up in grade drops 5.5kgs which keeps him in contention. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Ready To Explode.
