Strong pace expected with Zanthron and She's Xtravagant pushing up from their low draws. DECLARED (4) was a barnstorming winner here fresh, putting a gap on them in similar grade. Found Caulfield a touch sharp when well supported. Freshened 42 days and kept ticking over with a jump-out. The 3kg claimer reunites and he will take plenty of stopping. MYSTIC WONDER (11) resumes and was a strong first-up winner last prep when leading all the way at headquarters. The form around her last campaign stacks up and although she’s had just the one jump-out, she’s expected to give a bold sight. INVERTATIONAL (15) progressed nicely second-up when launching late to arrive in time and remains open to further improvement third-up. ZANTHRON (3) also resumes and is one of the main pace influences. He draws well, gets in well with the claim and loves this trip. Expect him to be in it for a long way. SUGGESTED PLAY: Declared to win.
