Solid tempo with Decoration leading from Bird's The Word and King Mahuta. WESTERN LADY (12) was very impressive when winning on resumption in a CL3 at Belmont 24 days ago. The sister to Western Empire clocked some impressive splits late and the rise in trip looks perfect for her on the back of that effort. Can build on the fresh effort and continue her winning ways. SHAMILIAN MISS (6) got the cash at Pinjarra on Magic Millions Day when finishing off strongly from midfield to score comfortably. This looks to set up similarly for Chris Parnham and if she can raise the bar again, she'll be very hard to hold out. MY AUTHORITAH (11) creates plenty of interest after tackling some strong races last campaign. His latest trial coming into this was solid and the inside draw is a big tick. Has plenty of upside as he lands here fresh and he's sure to put his best foot forward. BIRD'S THE WORD (7) can feature in the finish with a better barrier this time around. OLD MATE HENRY (9) has plenty of upside and can improve sharply. SUGGESTED PLAY: Western Lady can go on with the job.
