Expecting a strong gallop with Brutal Eyes and Rager taking up the running over King Czar. BRUTAL EYES (3) was prominent on straightening and stuck on well to finish third last start over 1200m at Nowra, beaten narrowly when resuming as favourite. Likely improver with strong prospects. DAZE OFF (1) has got too far back in her last two but will enjoy a drop in class here and gets weight off with the 2kg claimer engaged. Drawn much kinder on the quick back-up and is a genuine threat. RAGER (4) showed good early speed and raced just off the lead before lifting to score comfortably over 1400m at Orange last start. One of the main contenders. KING CZAR (7) settled well back and turned in a sub-par run last time out over 1400m at Albury after a nice win the start prior. Nicely placed to get things back on track. KAHAWATY (2) didn't miss by far last time at Holbrook, This is tougher but she's going well enough to be competitive. SUGGESTED PLAY: Brutal Eyes to win.
