Strong tempo likely with several going forward, headed by Grey Lad and Lord Chapel. Onto the Towong Cup. BLUSHING TYCOON (6) is right up to this grade. His form doesn't read well on paper but this is a fair bit easier and he can do much better for the new yard here. Well placed and will take some running down. GREY LAD (4) was well fancied when resuming but found one better at Holbrook, finishing 0.6 lengths adrift at the end of 1400m. The extra furlong can see him very hard to run down from the soft gate. FOX APPEAL (2) finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 1590m at Wangaratta in a BM70. This suits and he'll be finishing strongly. STAR BUYER (5) was beaten for early speed and didn't come into contention when a disappointing sixth over 1590m at Wangaratta most recently. Drawn well for top yard and has claims. VIRTUCON (8) is going okay and can be sneaking runs up the fence. SUGGESTED PLAY: Blushing Tycoon to win.
