RESERVATION (13) was prominent on straightening and stuck on well to finish second when resuming last start over 1600m at Kyoto, beaten one length. Looks well placed so expect another forward display. SMART TEANA (2) produced a nice effort on debut last start over 1600m at Kyoto when second, beaten 3 lengths. Drawn well close to the inside so another forward showing looks on the cards. WHITE FLAMES (3) is a five-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at Kyoto over 1600m, beaten 6 lengths. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come. A SHIN BEACON (18) could only manage to finish fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths, at his latest appearance over 1800m at Kokura. Looks to be in the right race to figure in the finish.
