Moderate tempo with Celestial Blaze leading the way. CELESTIAL BLAZE (8) made a move before the turn from last to midfield then went right on with the job in the straight in an impressive return from a spell at Doomben last time. Stays at a sprint trip which is the query as his best form last prep was at 2000m and further. Trust Rob Heathcote has kept him fresh enough. ARIAT (9) recorded a barnstorming win here at this distance two runs back then failed to run over 1350m at Doomben last time out. Five-time winner at the trip so she shouldn't be written off after one plain performance. CREATIVITY MISS (13) is racing well without winning, including an eye-catching second over 1350m at Doomben last start. Will run her usual honest race. MEAN APPROACH (2) is racing well for the in-form Pat Webster stable and should be about the money. SUGGESTED PLAY: Celestial Blaze on top but this is very tricky.
