Gallant Son and Caballus to take up the running at a genuine tempo. The Group 1 Newmarket Handicap where outstanding colt TENTYRIS (2) is out to break history. Only hall of famer Ajax has won the race as a 3yo with 57kg, the next highest was Weekend Hussler with 56kg. That said, he was frankly ridiculous winning the Lightning first up, still last at the 200m mark but ripping home in electric splits to score comfortably. He'll love 1200m here and can announce himself the best sprinter in the country with victory. ANGEL CAPITAL (4) could be the main danger at double figures. He's enigmatic, over racing badly fresh when heavily backed to beat Joliestar. This is his chance to get the elusive G1, imagine Waller has him raring to go. MY GLADIOLA (13) meets Tentyris much better at the weights now. She'll fancy her chances of turning the tables with 50.5kg. WAR MACHINE (3) struggled fresh but his dominant G2 Gilgai win here remains in memory. BENEDETTA (7) was held up in the Lightning and flashed late. She may have come back better this time for Maher, wary. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Tentyris & Angel Capital.
