Genuine tempo with Cap Ten leading the way. Tough. RUBIQUITY (2) improved last time out to score by half a length after being in the firing line on the corner over 1200m at Naracoorte. Has his share of ability and looks to have turned the corner. Will position forward and should be hard to beat again. FROSTY NIGHT (12) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 1209m at Yarra Valley. Has an awkward gate but is a likely improver with strong prospects. THE MOUNT (5) was busting to win before a plain run at Great Western. Was vet cleared and has been given time away. Has some gear tweaks and is a player if presented on song. PORT LOUIS (1) went close at Colac and is ready to win. The outside gate cruels and he will need a good ride. CAP TEN (3) is better than the last two runs suggest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Rubiquity.
