Strong tempo primarily from Lancelot, Quatre Epice and Trevi over Titina and Red Renato. BLACK JADEITE (8) stalked the pace when resuming at this track and trip last start then worked to the line steadily to finish second. Only poor run to date was when tested at Gr 2 level. Should feature in the finish. REINE LIEBE (2) returns after a spell of six months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1800m at Niigata. Looks a winning chance with the help of a lovely draw. TREVI (16) didn't do a bad job when resuming from a spell last start over 1600m at Tokyo, beaten 3.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Fitter and sure to run well. CHIARAMENTE (13) resumes. Didn't make an impact at her only run last prep on December 14, finishing seventh and beaten 4 lengths over 1800m at this track. Should race handy and is not to be discounted.
