Many of these step out for the first time so a genuine tempo is expected. SIMPLY SID (1) continues to find the maiden win elusive but has been savaging the line, and with Pannell reuniting he only needs the gaps to appear to take plenty of stopping. CARPE ASTRA (9) has been a frustrating watch for punters but is edging closer to a breakthrough. Maps to get the right run and will give a bold sight. JUXTAPOSE (12) resumes for the Clarken yard and looks to have come on nicely during the break. She’s got enough early dash to offset the wide draw and should be in this for a long way. BOOLCUNDA DAWN (8) was well fancied when resuming at Kingscote and was beaten a lip. Fitter now and worth sticking with. ZOU DOLL (14) was too bad to be true fresh and gets Opperman aboard. Don't forget. SUGGESTED PLAY: Simply Sid each-way.
