Not much early pressure but Lady Yarrow, Matcha Latte and Monkhana can take up forward spots. MATCHA LATTE (2) went south for a Listed race over this distance at Flemington last start and was there until the dying stages, eventually beaten just over a length. Has placed at Group 2 level which puts him a fair way ahead of this field class-wise. Looks the winner. JUST IN TIME (7) settled midfield but just whacked away without making an impression in the Hawkesbury qualifier 16 days ago. Cherry ripe after three runs back and should enjoy the bigger track today. MONKHANA (8) resumes. Opened last prep with a second on a heavy track over this distance at Rosehill. Must be respected despite the lack of race fitness as this is obviously a target race. CUBAN CIGAR (5) disappointed at Warwick Farm last start but is better than that. SUGGESTED PLAY: Matcha Latte to win.
