Main Defender to take charge ahead of Pressonregardless at a solid tempo. SEE IT AGAIN (2) gave away a start then stormed home to win over 2000m in the G1 The Met at Kenilworth last time out. Freshened and back to the mile but has four wins at the trip. Expected to be in the finish. THE REAL PRINCE (3) found the line nicely to grab third lin the same race. Leading contender again. MAIN DEFENDER (1) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 7 lengths into fifth over 1160m at this track. Has never missed the frame second up. Has a superb record here and far better placed at the mile. Expected to improve sharply. ATTICUS FINCH (4) returns from a layoff of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1450m at Turffontein Inside. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
