Lost her position mid-race and couldn't recover last start in a run that is worth forgiving. Handy mare who will be cherry ripe for this assignment. CARRAVILLA (3) made it three wins from four outings this prep when she dug deep to score over 1350m at Doomben a fortnight ago. Coming back to 1200m at this stage of the prep is a query, but her form this time in work speaks for itself. BLUE SPINEL (10) is without a win for two years but is teasing connections. Wound up late to finish fourth in a BM70 over this course and distance recently. Goes best for Angela Jones who is back aboard. Right in contention. PARTY SPIRIT (6) comes here with a fringe hope.
