Strong pace from Cecile Brunner and Alia Fabula matching motors with Elu Grace close at hand. ELU GRACE (1) stalked the pace when resuming at this track and trip last start then worked to the line steadily to finish second. Should camp just off the leaders again. Likely to feature in the finish. SOMETHING SWEET (9) is a four-start maiden who looks close to breaking the duck after finishing in the placings at her last couple of runs, most recently when 1.5 lengths away in second over 1800m at Tokyo. Going well enough to test this field. CLAIRE NOA (10) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at Tokyo over 1600m, beaten 1.4 lengths. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration. CECILE BRUNNER (18) has not been to the races since she finished third on debut over 2000m at this track on December 20. One of the contenders.
