Sexy Time is expected to burn across and lead from the wide gate.
FELIX THE SCAT (3) has been racing well and drops significantly in grade today. Beaten just 0.6 lengths two back in a quality handicap over 2050m at the Gold Coast. Made plenty of late ground without threatening last start over 2000m at Doomben. Beautifully placed but just three placings in 15 Eagle Farm runs is a concern. JUNE (8) appreciated the step up in distance when a closing second over 1630m at Doomben last time out. Strips fitter at the third run back and drops from a Class 5 to a Class 3. Big threat. Lightly raced four-year-old SEXY TIME (9) continued his excellent form this time in work with a tough all-the-way win over this course and distance recently. Eligible for easier races but he is a progressive type with great scope for improvement. HEADHUNTER (4) might be looking for this longer journey now after a couple of unplaced efforts over the mile of late. BACKSTAGE (6) is also on trial at this distance but is as honest as they come. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Felix The Scat and June.
