ANGOLA BLACK (10) ran on strongly only to just miss when fresh from a spell as favourite last start over 2000m in the G3 Nikkan Sports Sho Nakayama Kimpai at this track. Should tighten right up following that outing. Has the ability to figure prominently. PARADIS REINE (4) resumes today after filling a minor placing at her last appearance in the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Kyoto over 2200m on November 16. That is outstanding form to bring to a race of this standing. Sure to be in contention. ERIKA EXPRESS (13) is a progressive galloper who is first-up since finishing 12th over 2200m in the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Kyoto four months ago. Has a strong record when resuming, including two wins. Likely to be involved in the finish. NISHINO TI AMO (14) is back at the races for the first time since November 22 when a Gr 3 winner. Scored over 1800m at Tokyo to launch the last campaign. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
