Solid tempo with Black Minto, Run Lucy Run and Trapeze Torque going hard, closely attended by Kickatinalong. RUN LUCY RUN (3) was a big 65 winner at Ipswich and then went forward again there and delivered a CL4. He is an improved galloper who will jump and run from the inside gate. The hat-trick beckons. NIGHTCAPPED (5) will find this easier than Doomben 13 days ago where she was beaten 1.8L. Led and easily won a 68 at the Sunshine Coast prior and gets in well with the 2kg claim. She'll be right in the finish with average luck. KICKATINALONG (7) spiked his figures beaten 2.3L in the same contest. Raced handy and can do the same here. She also has each-way claims. BLACK MINTO (4) has a high cruising speed and will skip across and race on the bunny. His win at Beaudesert two starts back stacks up. Forgive the latest on the poly surface here when he was heavily backed. BATTLETON (1) is proven second-up and would be in the mix at best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Run Lucy Run to win.
