Not much early pressure but Groove Jet, Marathia and Final Voyage can take up forward spots. UNFAITHFUL (4) easily accounted for a Maiden field over 1000m at Sunshine Coast when fresh from a break. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looms as one of the hardest to beat again. MARATHIA (1) resumes at home for the Campton yard and owns two trial wins. Has the inside gate and a 2kg claim and is likely to return much improved. SHELLY'S ACE (7) didn't have much luck at the Sunshine Coast but was nudged out the two prior in the country., hey stack up and he's worth another chance. IRON GRACE (5) was quickly back on track here last time a head at the end of 1400m. Has to drop back to a shorter sprint but is going well enough to consider. GROOVE JET (3) has placed 2/3 second-up and is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Unfaithful.
