GOING: G(4)

NAUGHTIN GROUP COROWA CUP 1600m

Track: GOOD4   Clear (Max: 29)   Rail: True.

Insufficient early speed to generate more than a muddling tempo. TAVOLO (4) came from well back on the bend and hit the line strongly to score over 1500m at Kembla Grange last time out. Already a winner at the mile and his splits from last start suggest he will relish the extra 100m. Budler reunites and knows her well. Leading player. CANNY HELL (2) got too far back in the CC qualifier at Wagga last week but did make late inroads. First time at the mile but suspect he handles it. BLAZING SWORD (7) fought on to score a narrow win at Albury over this trip last month. Drops significantly in the weights with the rise in grade. Tougher assignment but deserves his chance. Can't knock the win of TOOMPINE (6) gets weight off and is going well enough to give this a shake. Keep safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tavolo to win.
