Expecting Danon Vestal to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. DANON VESTAL (6) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on November 9, finishing tenth and beaten 9 lengths over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. In the money at all six runs prior to that failure so must be forgiven. Will give a great sight. RED ISTER (7) was just fair when resuming from a spell last start over 1600m at Hanshin, beaten 6 lengths. Has been in the money at each second-up start. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. MEISHO OGMA (1) is back at the races for the first time since December 20. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. Has found a suitable race and is worth including. CHRONUS BULLET (2) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fourth, beaten 5 lengths, over 1800m at this track. One of the main contenders.
