Genuine tempo from Girls Day Out leading Roundabout Glory. SEVEN CANDLES (4) was very impressive and jumped the race favourite in tougher company 77 days ago when edged out by 0.7L. CJP hops on board here and the drop back in grade is a big tick. Some niggle back to 1200m, but he'll be fresh and he can mow down his rivals from the back of the pack. LASH OUT (6) won narrowly two back before bumping into a smart one in a CL1 last start at Pinjarra. He closed off nicely there and that rating stacks up in this field. Draw is tricky, but if the breaks come then he can put himself into the finish. GIRLS DAY OUT (5) couldn't go on over the 1000m journey last time out when 3.4L off the winner at Belmont. The form out of that race has been solid and he was favourite on that occasion. Fitter again now as he steps out to 1200m for Parnham and he can make his presence felt. SHOW THE WAY (10) can sit handy again from the inside draw for Steve Parnham and won't be far away. ROUNDABOUT GLORY (9) can feature back in trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Seven Candles can go one better on his return.
