There should be a bit of pressure with Vamanos and That's My Baby pressing forward in advance of Hong Kong and Too Late My Mate. PRETTY PERSUASIVE (5) is a talented filly who was well held last time in tougher grade over 1600m in the G2 Gauteng Fillies Guineas at this track. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and three minor placings from six outings. Bold showing expected. HONG KONG (6) is racing well, scoring two back at Vaal before finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in second last time over 1450m at Turffontein Inside. Gavin Lerena who has two wins when partnering stays on. Sure to play a big role. THAT'S MY BABY (3) had been rock-solid with two placings in a row before finishing fourth over 1450m at Turffontein Inside last start. Should be poised just off the lead. Will be in this for a long way. TOO LATE MY MATE (8) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1600m at this track, finishing fourth and beaten 1.3 lengths. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot.
