GOING: S(5)

BLUELINE GROUP CLASSIC OPEN Handicap 1200m

Track: Soft 5   Rain (Max: 27)   Rail: +8m 900m-W/Post; +5m Remainder. (Pent: 4.94)

Pace looks sure to be genuine with Memoria and Heroic Miss matching motors, closely followed by Pivotal Motion. Competitive though a couple of scratchings in the morning thin things out a bit and leaves the chances fairly clear cut. MEMORIA (2) returns from a short break after competing in the Listed Goldmarket Hcp at this track. Brought Sydney metro form to that and has been kept up to the mark with an easy trial win here. Race sets up and think that she can take full advantage of it now. EYE OF THE EAGLE (8) resumed her in easier for the new yard and looked a run short. The former Victorian has some decent metro form in the CV and quick improvement is on the cards. SAILOR'S SECRET (1) has been plain his last two but he's won both starts at this track and may show more. SUGGESTED PLAY: Memoria's race.
